I received an email yesterday from Love and Logic and thought that the timing of it was pretty ironic.
Sometimes as parents we want to bail our kids out of every rough situation they get into. If we continue to do that, we are telling our kids that they are not smart enough to figure it out, or that we will always be there to solve their problems for them. Yes, there are times when our kids really do need our help. Other times, it's all right to let them struggle a little. The best learning comes from making mistakes.
